I'm Javier Rodríguez Valdés

I am a professional musician and composer based in Chile, with a fervent passion for video game music. My story began at the age of four when my mother, with her love and vision, took me to my first piano lesson. That decision marked the start of a journey that would change my life forever.

1. The Piano

Music became my world, and not a day went by without immersing myself in the piano keys, perfecting my craft with the help of wonderful teachers. As I grew, I won various national competitions and had the opportunity to participate in numerous concerts and musical events both inside and outside the country.

But, at the same time, I was living a parallel life as a musician: being a composer.

2. The Video Games

One day, around the age of five (I was too young to remember exactly), my father gave my brother and me a Game Boy Advance with a game that would leave an indelible mark on my life: Golden Sun.

Inspired by it, my brother and I started working on a lot of different projects, creating stories, learning to code, and for me, learning how to create music for video games.

At this stage, we learnt so much, and had so much fun!!

3. Trilling Dragons!

In 2022, I launched my YouTube channel, where I began publishing covers and original pieces. Since then, I've been finalist to an international competition, I created the OST for some video games, and even one of my covers went viral on social media xD

Today, I continue to train and develop, piece by piece, refining my sound and style, while doing what I love the most: creating and sharing my music to the world.
